Zoom!

Well here we are, in the month o Christmas. Were did this year go? No, really. Time is speeding up in a very worrying manner. At this rate I'll be 90 and in a home singing songs from the War in about 6 months. I think that the year has sped by so quickly because of Archie- the passage of the year fitting in perfectly with his age. Being pregnant goes on for ever, but babies go from 0-12 months in the blink of an eye...
Have everything poised for the Big Decorating Extravaganza on Wednesday. When you have $300 worth of tinsel you really have to make an event out of it, I find.

Well, Eva, it is good to know you are still in business there! I was beginning to worry!

Christmas, the kids must be getting wild about it. At least, Jasper, Archie may be a bit young.

The year seems to have gone by fast for me, as well. Too fast now that I am doing the 'card' thing!

You have a lifetime supply of tinsel! My dad went crazy with the icicle type of it. We used to hang atleast forty pieces one at a time, in neat array on each little branch. The tree was mesmerizing when the lights went on, but decorating took days. And that was just the trees.

Here, people tend to leave a lot of lights up, especially on balconies and porches, year round as it is a wee bit on the chilly side for doing it now. We might get to freezing this weekend and get a bit spoiled. It's been -17C or below most of the last week or more. Seems an eternity. But at least we have snow.

And the Christmas shopping is mostly done. A bit more.

Hey, is this my blog or yours...

Sorry. Jai spanks her fingers!

your Dad sounds like he was my kind of guy!
We had our chrsitmas lights up for two years- but the parrots and the possums used them for gymnastics, so I made Thor take them down. New ones await hanging this week!!
