If it looks like crawling, and it sounds like crawling...

First, he rolled over....and then, he crawled! Made a little less phenomenal by the fact that he just turned ten months old, but in this family we say 'begone' to the traditional way of doing things in the whole 'perambulation' sphere.
Jasper walking? Not till he's 21 months, thanks! (although the whole 'legs-in-plaster-operations-a-plenty-leg-brace thing had something to do with that).
Archie rolling over? No siree- that would involve ending up on my tummy and we'll have none of that shenanigan! Crawling? Get out! Jasper can bring me any charcoal or similar choking hazards that I show an interest in.
But today, instead of scooting around backwoods in an aimless and quite frankly hazardous manner, Archie did a proper, hand/knee in coordination type manouver. Several of them, actually. So lets call that crawling shall we?
Quite relieved, as he has been doing this wierd knees locked raised by wolves scuttle that freaked me out some. Plenty of time to exert his individuality in other areas.
Still doesn't want solids, though. Given his chubbiness, breastmilk isn't doing him any harm. DId eat a chocolate cornflake thing today, but probably best not to encourage junk food just yet. I'll wait till he's one for that.

I think that's a good example of crawling -- sounds like crawling. And it's a necessary item for speaking, or so 'tis said. I don't know if that held true with my brothers, however.

They didn't talk human talk until they were well over two. Twin talk it was, translated by big sister, Jai!

Soon you will have two running around! Maybe sometimes in the same direction!

I'm still anonymous. Mack likes it that way. :biggrin0
